BIOGRAPHY OF STACY S. NEISLER
Stacy S. Neisler was born in New Boston, Ohio and grew up in Centre, Alabama. She graduated with honors from Cherokee County High School in Centre, Alabama in 1997 and graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama in 2000 earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Philosophy. While studying at Auburn University, Stacy became a published author of poetry, receiving the National Library of Poetry’s Editor’s Choice Award in 1998. Stacy also served as Secretary for the Auburn University Chapter of the Phi Sigma Tau Philosophy Honor Fraternity and was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. While attending college at Auburn University, Stacy worked as an English tutor at The English Center on campus.
In 2003, Stacy obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. While living in Knoxville, Stacy served as a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House and the Chairwoman of Community Service for Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. In 2000, Stacy was proud to be named Volunteer of the Year by the University of Tennessee Pro Bono Society. Stacy also served as a Student Host and Student Advisor for the College of Law, and she was an active member of the Saturday Bar. Stacy was also proud to be a member of the first class of students to attend the College of Law’s Business Clinic.
Since moving to Spring Hill in 2003, Stacy has been active in the community. Stacy is a graduate of Leadership Maury and has served as President of The Spring Hill Networking Professionals; President of The Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (Maury County Chapter); and Chairman of the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce. Stacy has also served on the Board of Directors for The Spring Hill Country Ham Festival Foundation, Inc. and is a current member of the Maury County Bar Association; the Tennessee Bar Association; the Auburn University Alumni Association; and Ducks Unlimited (Duck River Chapter). Stacy is very proud to be a Rotarian and previously served as the Director of Community Service for The Spring Hill Rotary Club. Stacy was named Rotarian of the Year in 2008 by the Spring Hill Rotary Club and was honored as a first level Paul Harris Fellow.
Stacy is also co-owner of Jobe Neisler Consulting, LLC, which provides government relations consulting services in the Middle Tennessee area.
Stacy happily resides in Spring Hill with her husband, Walt Neisler, and their chocolate labrador retriever, Webb.
